The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services needs to push for better standards for how quickly patients can see doctors and receive follow-up care. I have serious back pain, yet it can take weeks just to see a doctor to order an MRI. Then I wait for the MRI, then for the results, and then sometimes several more weeks for another appointment just so the doctor can review those results with me. I have contacted HHS for assistance with my quality of care concerns regarding healthcare not being adequately addressed by my local state medical board. My issues are ongoing and I am still being treated in a harmful and dangerous manner by my care team.
