My Dr referred me there but they did not bother to call me to sit up the appointment. There are much better places to go anyway. They have terrible sad faces at this place. The wait is hours,then hours to wait to be seen. I am glad they did not call. My visit before was horrible.
If you are having an acute kidney stone attack with obstruction be prepared to wait a month for an appointment and the staff are uninformed and rude. The manager refused to return my call about my experience with scheduling.
I do not recommend this urology clinic. Dr. Tieng was absolutely arrogant to me and seemed annoyed I was there from pain from a long term kidney stone. He acted like it would be a mission impossible task to remove it. I insisted on getting it removed as it was causing me pain. He stated there was no way I was having kidney pain from the 7mm stone . Alcoa Location. The person that received us at the window was warm and welcoming. The scheduling staff had a condescending tone and demeaner in person and over the phone. I felt like an inconvenience. The technician was ok, but could've extended a little more grace and patience. Knoxville Location. The staff was welcoming and kind.
