I cannot say enough about Urban Trauma Counseling and Shinelle Oglesby. I found Shinelle several years upon the recommendation of a close friend, and I have never had a better therapist. She is a balm to my soul. Shinelle is down to earth, intuitive, funny, wise, and empathetic. Sessions with her are transformative. It’s good to know I’m not the only one experiencing issues getting a response. I was seeing someone for a couple months then my therapist stopped booking sessions after I was wrongly charged for a no-show fee. I’ve been contacting through email and phone trying to start my sessions again. I was told it would be looked into and nothing at all and when I call it always says I’ve reached them after hours when it’s 2 in the afternoon.
Urban Trauma Counseling gets 5 stars from our family. The Team has and continues to go above and beyond to ensure that our family structure gets the necessary help to hold it together on so many levels, from the oldest family member to the youngest. They really believe in the mental health of the family, and try their very best to provide the care to walk with us every step of the way. God bless them all.
