My situation is the same as JD. My full amount of RRSP was transferred to Urban Star because of a move between provinces. Only, after the fact did I find out that Urban Star, Dean Gorenc and the local investment a dvisor were not registered with BC or Alberta securities. Like JD, I opted to withdraw my funds but was told there is no money available and there have been many delays. I am in RRiF territory and have been for several years, but they do not make payments.
