I no longer live in California; however, a friend and I would stop over to Urban Barn and I'd usually come away something unique! I have a nice lamp which I purchased at Urban Barn several years ago and I love how they remade it with greens and blues on the lamp base! I have also picked up glass doorknobs, pulls and metal pieces to repurpose for birdhouses, etc. This time I took this lamp home and lightly glued on little lace pieces all over the lamp shade to create a new look ~ it turned out really pretty!
