Great little quaint shop to have a latte, read, and buy unique gifts. A wonderful nonprofit within the Old Market - it truly is a pleasure knowing my purchases will go towards something more positive than if I went to a large chain.

Urban Abbey is a wonderful, open place to enjoy coffee and their wonderful book collection. As a non-Christian, I have also always felt welcome at services. What truly makes this place special is the incredible staff and leadership. Keep up the good work!

Because I never had white privilege I never sat down on my ass during work work hours on a laptop and fake laugh or eat pastries and coffee... I like that Urban Abbey treats everyone with full human dignity. There is always someone to provide counseling and guidance. I have a home at Urban Abbey, and I am so happy to feel accepted here!

I love Urban Abbey very much. For me, it is a home away from home.I feel spiritually safe and accepted there. I honestly am not the biggest fan of coffee, but I adore the beans they have there, and what's so wonderful is that it is also non-profit and fair trade, which is pretty awesome I think! It's a safe space, a nice place to study, and offers a real community for one and all.

Love this place. Coffee, books, and conversation...my three most favorite things. And really like the community involvement and outreach.
