Wonderful food and delightful service. I highly suggest uptown to anyone who is looking for a healthier(or not) option!
First, the food is absolutely delicious and always is BUT the service has just gotten so terrible! Uptown used to be a favorite but my two visits has been so bad, I won't go out of my way anymore. Last time was with a large group in the middle of a Saturday afternoon and today was late morning. Both times, it wasn't very busy but we were treated as if we were such an inconvenience. Best place to have breakfast. Nice food and service.
Breakfast and lunch is wonderful, but Dinner is even better with a little more upscale menu and a good wine list and great beer selection.
While visiting a friend in South Bend her daughter recommended that we have breakfast here. The food was delicious and fresh!! We had the honor of meeting Johnathon Lutz, the Owner. I have not ever eaten Challah Bread as French Toast before but it was a fantastic bread!! Thank You for the wonderful service Ryan M.! We will be back before I return to Louisiana ;)
