Since 1985 the Uptown Grill has offered polished casual American cuisine, serving our full menu for lunch thru dinner seven days a week. We offer one of the most diverse menus in the area. Our atmosphere includes beautiful outdoor seating, screened-in patio seating, as well as a newly remodeled bar and lounge area. This is only our online availability. RecommendedStopped because we saw the billboard and boy were we pleasantly surprised by how awesome this place is. Expected a burger place and instead it was so much more. Absolutely beautiful inside electronic menus huge selection, fantastic salads (Brussels sprout and balsamic chicken and Strawberry). The mushroom soup was fabulous and such generous portion, could have shared both. Excellent food, perfect service and atmosphere, we will make sure we stop here again.
The food was delicious....however, we noticed that each one of our bills was rounded up two cents. When asked why, the servers avoided the topic and never addressed it with a manager. Has this happened to others?

I have not had a more pleasurable dining experience in a long time that I forgot how excellent it can be. This place ROCKS!!!
Like many others, my husband and I stumbled upon this place while returning from a downstate business meeting. The food and service were outstanding. A couple of times per year we’ll drive down from Rockford just to have a meal at the Uptown. The experience never disappoints.
