Since 1985 the Uptown Grill has offered polished casual American cuisine, serving our full menu for lunch thru dinner seven days a week. We offer one of the most diverse menus in the area. Our atmosphere includes beautiful outdoor seating, screened-in patio seating, as well as a newly remodeled bar and lounge area. This is only our online availability. let there be light This restaurant is great if you're not on a tight budget and have great night vision. The menu is pretty sparse but what is on there is delicious. This has the facade of a casual dining restaurant but the prices and selection of fine dining. Great Dining Experience This is a hip establishment with quality food, ambiance and service. When visiting the Illinois Valley it is a great place to get together with friends. Twice in the past year I've been to events in their banquet room and they were excellent. Top of the line in all aspects. The Uptown is an up scale restaurant that I would classify as the best in the Lasalle Peru area. The food is exceptional and they go out of their way to try to satisfy special requests. Would be lost without Uptown ! This is the Illinois Valley's destination restaurant ! I am a chicago transplant and would be lost without UPTOWNS ambiance, healthy options, selection of interesting wines, beers, and amazing cuisine. Had lunch outside today with my grandma to soak up the last 70° sunny day of the year. The service was impeccable, per usual. I had the black and blue burger, add bacon, and a Hefeweizen and it was the perfect lunch! My burger was delish, my beer complimentary, and our server very sweet. My grandma had the pork tenderloin and will be able to make several meals out of it, it was so big and good! Never a bad word to say about our meals there. One of our favorite stops!
