Be very careful dealing with Upright Builders. I would never use them as they are extremely disrespectful and discourteous. They have little regard for the safety of the residents of the neighborhoods in which they build. they take a very long time to complete a house and leave the streets and construction sites littered with equipment during months of inactivity. Bad Reputation – This guy has some bad feedback locally. Do a search on the Topix web site for Raleigh, NC for more information.
Watch your house value – Upright Builders build a good house, however be wary of what he does to the neighborhood. We bought a large family house from him and after moving in found out he sold houses on our street at a large discount to his employees and also rented out houses he built. One house has 4 guys living there with the garage turned into storage rooms and several cars always parked on the street. Not the family type neighborhood we were expecting.
