I recommend Dr. Jeffrey DeSantis because he was able to take care of the issue I had for six months. I had went to another Doctor who traumatized me and hurt me and couldn’t figure out what was wrong. He looked and knew exactly what it was within seconds. A very common issue and he scheduled the procedure took care of it. I had my healing time and was cured. I thought I was gonna have to live with this pain the rest of my life. I appreciate what he did because he worked a miracle! And his staff was very nice as well.
Dr. DeHeer operated on my foot for arthritis in January 2022. Now, the placement of the corrective surgery has left my big toe rubbing, actually more like fused, to my next toe. After consulting another podiatrist - which I should have done prior to surgery - I will be wearing a bandaid and gauze to keep my toes seperated for the foreseeable future. I certainly didn't expect that result and I would never recommend Dr. DeHeer to anyone I know.
My podiatrist in Atlanta knew Dr. DeSantis personally and when I asked for a referral when I moved here, I saw him. I had a major issue with Plantar Fascitis that required surgery. He doesn’t rush anyone into surgery and approached your issue cautiously. After the surgery I had a small bone that broke away that was not related to the first problem. He’s in and out and doesn’t listen to you. I would highly discourage going to him. Very rude and arrogant.
We had to wait at least 30 minutes to be seen at every single appt. Never apologized for always running late. So unprofessional. They charge ridiculous fees for things that you can find elsewhere at half the price. And the Dr was more interested in scheduling as many follow ups as possible that were not necessary so our insurance could be billed. Will not go back.
Dr. Tara Fussell displays kindness, care and professionalism. I was very pleased with her staff & the orthotics I ordered from Foot & Ankle Associates of Florida.

Dr. Deheer operated on my daughter’s foot and was amazingly professional and kind. I would highly recommend him for anyone with foot problems. He is AMAZING!
