Dr. Franklin is by far the best doctor my son has seen. I struggled finding a good doctor since all the others wanted to over drug with medicine or misdiagnose my son with asthma. I highly recommend this doctor. Despite the front desk I’ve decided to stay because of the doctor.
I had a very racist and bias experience on my first visit. The office staff tried to charge me $120 for a new born screening even though I have insurance which covers the visit. Dr. Fred told me the only thing I needed to bring was the discharge paperwork from the hospital but when I arrived they told me they never received any paper work from the hospital so we could not complete our screening. Charged me $5 per child to get vaccine records. Refused to provide me with Immtrac print out stating that they don't have any way to print it out which is ridiculous because per Immtrac, this is readily available to be requested in their office which I've never had a problem getting from their past pediatricians. If not for Dr Franklin who my children loves and my daughter who's under his care for hearing loss, I would have pulled my kids out of this office. So when is it not ok to move cities and move pediatrics closer to living area then come back to Edinburg and refuse to allow the child to resume visitations! That's just not right! CHILDREN COME FIRST!! ANY RECOMMENDATIONS ANYONE? Sorry Dr Franklin your front office needs to adjust their attitude sorry we didn't get her name!
