Life Ending Medicine. I called the office of the physician I have seen for the last 30+ years. He has since retired. I sat on hold for 35+ minutes and when the operator answered, asked questions, and asked which Dr. I see, I told her that he has retired. She would not have a DR. call me and gave me the number to Allegheny County Health Department. I will no longer go to any UPMC Dr.'s or facilities. This is how they treat patients. Again Life Ending Medicine!

Why? Because they aren’t Stopping elective procedures in a time of national crisis. Preserve Masks, gloves etc for frontline responders to the corona epidemic and for patients. Not for greedy people doing non- urgent elective procedures.

Why is UPMC not telling the media or locals about there Coronavirus patients. Shadyside, Presbyterian, Montefiore Hospitals. And, their still doing effective surgeries, telling there employees it’s not bad business as usual... But, AGH has cancelled all theirs. Upmc never thinks about their employees they just want that all mighty buck. Be ashamed of yourselves

They are my insurance company. I hope to change that ASAP after the complete inappropriate why they have thus far handled this corona virus!!! Still performing elective procedures of routine colonoscopy’s, as just one example, shows the extent of greed this non profit hospital displays!!!

I used to... but now no. Their lack of response to this crisis to protect both patient and employees is staggeringly low. Has costed employee moral and deeper fear among those with no protective procedures put into place!!!

There response to COVID 19 is woefully inept and shows where their priorities lie. Look for care elsewhere. This "non-profit" does not have your best interests in mind.

I had an appointment with Dr Pezzone next week as a new patient. I was called today and told that since the Governor has asked that people stay in they were canceling my appointment. I checked the spreadsheet and it clearly says Drs, dentists, etc are to be open but elective procedures are to be postponed. I have colitis. Dr Pezzone was recommended to me by another Dr. I waited 3 months for this appointment only to be lied to.

They don’t do the tests they should. And brush off people’s concerns.
