On November 6, 2022 I had unfortunate experience of taking a relative to the Shadyside Hospital Emergency Room. The check in process was flawless, expeditious and efficient. Everything from that point forward was downhill. After 50 minutes plus of waiting in a room I sought out medical staff to ask when the patient could be seen. I was told by the attending she will be seen "soon". This would not have been annoying if they were busy, but this was the only patient in the ER.
