An hour wait for outpatient blood work is a sign of failure. Thirty minutes wait just to check in is even worse. I’ll never make this mistake again. I don’t care how much my UPMC doctor recommends just going to the UPMC hospital for blood work, I could have been in and out in ten minutes at an independent lab. If you want the business, add the staff to support the demand.
Waited 4+ hrs with my son having an open wound from accidental stabbing with a knife. Was told they had no beds in er and they weren’t taking ambulances. So basically the Er is closed.
RecommendedMy husband had knee replacement surgery last June and I just had a procedure done yesterday. We both had very good experiences while at the hospital. The staff were all caring and attentive to us and the hospital is very clean.

my wife has been here in the ER FOR 3.5 HRS. now they have a Male nurse name Jason who literally did triage on my wife and others in front of everybody in the ER . I thought we had Hepa. worst hospital I been at.

Doctors and nurses are always professional and caring. Have I had a few problems with individual personnel? Yes. But overall, I have never had a bad experience. It's nice to have a hospital in our hometown.
