Ive never had a worse experience at an Emergency Dept. Dr. Conrad was horrific; literally told us he didnt even look at my lab results. Terrible bedside manner, and extremely slow care. I was sent there from urgent care for a cardiac workup. They didnt even hook me up to a monitor for the 5 hours i was there. Had to advocate to the charge nurse in order to have a doctor explain my labs and plan of care to me. Never again.

I am beyond disappointed and irritated at my recent experience at UPMC. They had me stay overnight, and recommended I get plenty of rest and fluids. Then, they created a terrible resting environment. My IV machine was malfunctioning all throughout the night, and the alarms, the nurses, and the IV team kept waking me up to reset the machine or stick me with needles. I asked the nurse, as politely as possible, how she expects me to sleep well with these conditions, and she said "No one here sleeps well, not even the staff". No... read more

Sitting in waiting room while you are not feeling well and having to listen to FOX News sucks. Care is good otherwise
