I thought I had enough experience and understanding how caregivers help-assist-care....I fully expected since smoke inhalation was not necessarily burns, that we would be a low end priority. And it's fair..there's ppl up there who are in desperate need and have long term issues. Nope. We had the best treatment and kindness I've ever seen. Best team ever. I had 2nd degree burns on my arm all around and the ambo brought me here from irwin and I'm so glad they did!!! What wonderful people here very helpful even the officer that was in the er when I arrived helped me handed me my phone since I had burns on my right and I've and all that on the left I really couldn't move much so I just feel like from the ambulance to the hospital was on point and very caring!!! Kudos to you guys and thank you so much!!! This Pic is the after and it looked like this after 2 weeks!!!
On May 20th of this year my wife and I were involved in an RV fire. For the next 67 days (44 in the Trauma Burn ICU ). I am posting this review on behalf of both myself and my wife. To say both the doctors and especially the nurses go above and beyond is an understatement. After so long they seem to become like family. We return every two weeks for further treatments and we both look forward to seeing them all under different circumstances and always know that we are being treated by some of the best there are in our eyes.

I came to the outpatient burn clinic at Mercy about 5 times during the summer of this year. Like many people, I have had very mixed experiences with healthcare recently. However, I had only extremely positive experiences with the various staff members I saw at this clinic, from the receptionist to the doctors. Everyone was extremely attentive, kind, and obviously committed to a high level of care.
