Always a good time at this place. I can watch the Pens practice while either getting a coffee or a bite to eat at good prices too. PensGear isn't far away at all if someone wants merchandise. It can't be beat. Go during the weekdays for practice, it's less crowded.
I had to pick a star or I would've given none, this place is ridiculous, tried calling over & over & over again, always told to check website, well, that would be ok if the information I was looking for was there, sent messages as far back as August no response what so ever....place is a joke.
A lot of upgrades over the other local ice rinks. The food is all healthy and good for you including choiced of drinks so be prepared. Not popcorn or nachos here. And this rink is slightly colder than other rinks; colder than Olympic at RMU. So be prepared. I enjoy going to this rink for hockey except on Sunday's because the chick filet across the street isn't open for breakfast. Our ice times are early. The Lemieux display is an added touch.
