I went in for a colonoscopy I’ve been avoiding since before COVID after an upsetting experience at the ‘other’ hospital system, so I was very apprehensive. Everyone from admin staff to nurses to the Dr. who did the procedure was wonderful. I actually stayed awake enough to watch the imaging as Dr. Weinberg narrated the scope’s journey, which was great for me and took my anxiety down to near nothing. In recovery, they gave me a card. The PA I saw initially didn’t listen to me during the consultation, so I was worried about my endoscopy. I’d been suffering so long I didn’t want to start over with another GI place. Dr. Cho and her team turned that all around. My endoscopy was amazing! They got me in 45 mins early. Everyone was so kind and gentle. The nurse Jay talked to me the whole way through and the tech explained everything they were doing as it was happening. Dr. Cho was so kind and never made me feel like I was overreacting.
Not very helpful. The Dr was told where to send medications but they never did, nurses never asked. Was referred by ER dr's but after multiple times to ask them to call in the meda they advised to be taken no one was available. Only a VM saying a 2 day call back which isn't good at all especially for an emergency situation.
