Poorly managed and truly incompetent. I got a new health plan and was assigned to Upland Medical Group. At my first visit with my new PCP, I waited an hour to be seen by the doctor, even though I had an appointment. I thought, “maybe I caught them on a hectic day.“ But no, when I looked behind the receptionist window, I could see every doctor, every nurse, and every administrative assistant staring at their iPhones. These medical groups do not care about their patients. They do not call back, and they do not help with any issues you are having from your providers.
I was denied a second colonoscopy at a in out of network hospital. My in network Dr referred me out of network because he couldn't do the procedure I needed. UMG keeps referring me back to the in network Dr. Very incompetent people.
