Up with People is an AMAZING organization and I enjoyed writing my Doctoral dissertation on this passionate program that creates change makers. I'm proud to be an alum of UWP and a part of Cast C '93 - '94! But most of all, happy to be part of the UWP family!

Loved every experience! The ups and downs and everything in between! Cast F 1991!! Leadership, global perspective, friendships all around the world...oh and I gained a husband:) �and had 3 uppie children...one of which is currently traveling!
We have been a host family twice now when UWP visited Palm Springs, and both times have brought much joy to our lives. We still get emails from both groups, and love hearing from our "ambassadors of life" whenever we can. With our "adult leadership" so royally screwing things up, it's good to see young people acting for GOOD! Safe travels, all.
This past March - we hosted "4" cast members AND brought back our 2 original girls. Had a SUPER time with all of them. Have LOVED our extended family and suggest that more families try and become a part of the Up with People Family!! May the UwP message continue for MANY generations to come!!
Up With People changed my life and gave me friends, connections, bonds and memories that will last me a lifetime. When I left home in Minnesota for Tucson in January 1992 (Cast E), I was very sheltered and innocent (but curious) to anything that wasn't small-town Minnesota. My eyes and heart were opened and I was educated more than I could have ever imagined. We have been following Cast 2017-A around the US, both physically and virtually. We are in awe of the students from all over the world who come together as a community and do great things for other people and their communities. This is such a selfless organization. Their kindness, dedication and incredible talents will never be forgotten. Thank you for the experiences and friendships you have given to our son and our family!
