Amazing program to experience world travel, cultural assimilation, human service and the power of music.
One of the best times of my life. The experiences I gained benefited me for the rest of my life. My cast mates are some of my closest friends.

I LOVED my year, and my friendships have not only continued since our year, but gotten even BETTER! For anyone concerned about it being 'weird' at a reunion, I need to let you know that as we grow, we change, mature, develop into even better people. Some of the people I NEVER talked to during my year traveling I'm now very good friends with, because I went to a reunion and re-acquainted with them. Thanks, UWP, for changing my life for the better for always! : )
The most exciting, eye opening, wonderful, heartwarming 6 months of my life. Hard work, connecting with amazing people. Truly inspiring. Dance, Song, Culture, Social Work - all mixed together. Can't find that anywhere else.
There isn't enough space to review an experience that changed my life for the better. Took my senior year of high school on the road with Up With People back in 1967-68, then continued on until January of '69. Stayed in host family homes, traveled to 48 states, all across Canada, ALL through South America and Europe. It was an education and inspiration that lives on in me every single day. The 12 years I worked for Up With People molded my life in every way feasible. There's not a day that goes by that I don't thank God for and actually use knowledge I garnered from my life experiences. Forever grateful, I have so many friends and memories that live on.
