I met friends that I still have over 40 years later. It's like you're one big family. You may lose touch but the memories last a lifetime.
This is a very select international, educational, world-wide community non-profit organization for young adults. It is a 6 month musical travel program, where castmembers spend an average of a week in each community and live with host families. Acceptance into the program is based on a personal interview and highly recommended for students taking a gap year or wanting a hsnds-on cultural experience that will last a lifetime.

Absolutely life redefining experience. I still don't know if I was impacted more out I was able to impact others more but all in all that should be the goal of a service learning program.

Traveling with UWP in my teen years was incredibly formative for me. The lessons of tolerance and inclusion shaped my life.
Impact your child's life in a positive way for the rest of their life!
the best way to experience the world; by spreading a universal message of tolerance and acceptance, while staying with host families to really get a taste of the local culture. Sometimes it's quite similar, other times it's quite different. Being accepted into UWP and deciding to travel as my Gap Year (as it is now known in the States) is still one of the best decisions I ever made.
