Please rent from them. We are a family of five with 3 teenagers and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The boat was new and Up North made sure the boat was cleaned and disinfected. They brought the boat to our dock promptly and were there to return the boat at our convenience. They took the time to go over boat operation and safety. What a great experience! Rick was absolutely awesome during our vacation last week on Long Lake. From bringing the boat across the lake to our dock, showing off some nice spots on the lake, even providing a soft cooler for those days on the water! A great boat too. Our group of 7 loved anchoring at the sandbar for a picnic lunch or dinner. Even grabbed some ice cream at the Long Lake market, easily docking there and walking across the street. I can't recommend this company enough! Owner Rick was friendly and helpful. He provided lunch suggestions, pointed out nearby clean rest rooms, sand bars and fishimg spots. The boat was clean, beautiful and easy to operate. Long Lake was peaceful even during the busy 4th of July weekend. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
Rick, is awesome! One of the best boating experiences we’ve had! He was on time, rented ya a pontoon with less than 15 hrs, didn’t charge any extra for gas used, and allowed us to come in when we were ready (at a reasonable time of course)! Rented a pontoon boat for a week. New with a lot of amenities. Delivery to our dock and gas included. Rick was great helping us navigate the lake. Very honest and fair priced. Talked with other rental businesses but he was the most informative and had the best boats. Highly recommended. He made our vacation so enjoyable with all his help beyond the rental because of his knowledge of the lake and surrounding area.
Rick made our stay in traverse city so much better! Rented his fishing boat and 2 different pontoons. Great pricing, nice new boats and the hospitality was top notch. I'm glad I called up north boat rental first. After one conversation with Rick on the phone I didn't need to look any further. I highly recommend him and will definitely be booking with him in the future!
