I have worked as separate entities with UPHS, both hospice and home health and can attest for the utmost care they provide for the patients and the families of those that they serve. I am continually impressed with the communication across the board at UPHS. I highly recommend their services to those in our community.

I have personally witnessed the most loving and compassionate care that UP Health System provides. I got to know and love several of the compassionate Nurses. Charlotte Groleau became like a daughter to me. The way she cared for my husband was UNBELIEVABLE! (sorry, I needed to make that clear!) I have never seen so much compassion. She won my heart.

If anyone is considering giving the gift of high quality of life time at home to their loved one for whatever time they may have remaining, I would highly recommend contacting UPHS Home Care & Hospice in Escanaba. I was not familiar with hospice care before coming into contact with them and had many common (wrong) ideas about what hospice care really is and how it works.
