From an Italian born and raised in Italy who moved to Cali, this is a real piece of Italy. It took me back home. Highly recommend UOVO�
I enjoyed the classic dish, with marinara sauce. It was freshly made in front of me, and tasted amazing!! Highly recommended - no preservatives, everything is fresh!!
Great Pasta and super fast service. The only recommendation I would offer is to increase the portions slightly. We were all still hungry afterwards. But I would go back for another round of Pasta.
As an ex Roman resident I was skeptical, but the team at Uovo do an outstanding job with most of their pastas... my only criticism was fir the Amatriciana which was way too spicy. The remains by four pastas we tried were terrific and very genuine.

I went here 2 days in a row because it was that good. So far, I've tried the following, not in any particular order... #1) Tagliatelle al Ragú #2) Tonnarelli al Pomodoro (Buttery tomato sauce that is simple but so good!) #3) Tortellini in Brodo (Border's on a soup since the tortellini is in a small amount of broth) #4) Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe (Traditional Roman dish, tied with the Pomodoro for my favorite. They're both good, just very different)
Don't waste your time, this place is ridiculous and won't be around for long. Walked in at 3pm and the place was empty. I wanted to sit down and order ahead for my wife who was 10mins out. We need to be in an out as we have a baby at home. The increddibly rude waiter would not let me order or at least sit down before my wife is here. What a shithole of a reataurant, thankfully there are many other restaurants in walking distance that don't have their head up their ass.
