If I could rate them 0 stars I would. I work in healthcare, am very educated, and Unum has been a nightmare. Closing cases because they assume they are duplicates, closing cases with no written warning as to why whatsoever, and then when you inquire about said issues, they have no solution. Unfortunate my company uses them and I have no choice.
Worst insurance company ever. Treat pregnant women with no respect. False claims on denials, you’re better off holding a bucket on the street! They will do anything they can to deny you and hope you give up!
I have been trying all afternoon to update my mailing address! Held on the line almost 1 HOUR! Finally googled this company and tried every number listed and finally reached a lady who sent me right back to the same line that I had previously been on hold forever. There is no excuse for this kind of customer service! I even tried their website- but that was for employees- I am a customer holding and paying for Long Term Care Insurance! Having received a letter that I needed clarification on and change my address! Would NEVER... read more
Absolutely terrible customer support experience. They tell you all claims take 5 business days to process and they can't even follow through on that.
