I have been here 3-4 times and have had a great experience every time - very nice friendly atmosphere, super clean, comfortable table. Massage itself always leaves me feeling relaxed - I don’t do deep tissue, so can’t speak to that, but after trying lots of places in DC, Unna is my go to!
I love going here, by far the best in DC! I have worked on my feet all my life and this is the only spa in the area that can work out my stress. The owner and therapists are all very friendly.
I have been going to Unna Spa semi-regularly for months now, and I highly recommend it! The instant you enter the spa, you are greeted with warm welcoming energy that matches the level of care you will receive. Unfortunately, I have to join two other negative reviews as it seems we had the same therapist. We went for a couple massage, and I have never been so disappointed with a massage, and I visit studios regularly at home and when I travel. Exactly as two other reviewers pointed, the technique was strange and probably should have been something like deep tissue massage and trigger pointing.
