I was referred to Dr Keel, without my knowledge or consent & after a surgery date with my original urologist had been set for Oct. 27, 2025 to remove my kidney. Dr. Keel apparently had another option to try to save the left kidney. Well, he is arrogant & egotistical - & did not listen to what I was saying. I've been dealing with pain for 3 yrs, had 1 surgery that hasn't solved the problem...just moved the pain. I have tried several times to get an appointment here. I called and was rudely told to hold. They forgot about me 3 different times. I filled out their request an appointment form online twice. I have never heard back from them. After reading the reviews, I'm glad they didn't call back. I'm going to have to leave the city for a 2nd opinion since Urology Associates has taken over Urology in Mobile.
I will say the assisting staff (MA, Check in & out staff) were wonderful. However, when I was explaining to the NP that I didn’t want to have a stint put in because I’ve had horrible experience with them and are very painful for me, I was basically told I wouldn’t have a choice. I also got the feeling from her that I was wasting her time and she wasn’t taking me serious. None of it sat well with me. I will not be back.
Had reoccurring pre-prisms. was pretty much forced to have an implant which got infected. I’m already hurting bad and have to have the surgery to remove it. I made them promise they weren’t going to leave me to suffer. The pain meds (4) percoset 5s was called into the pharmacy before I left. After I left they called and canceled the prescription at the pharmacy. This is the second day. I’m still suffering and there is nobody that will help me
