My experience with University Orthopedic Care has been extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this practice. On July 13, 2026, I returned to the practice with severe lower-left back pain after having an RFA in January related to a car accident. I had been doing much better until the pain suddenly returned. I was given a steroid injection by Dr. Maria Artiles, but no clear explanation was provided for the cause of my pain. By July 16, the pain had progressed into my groin, down my leg, and into my knee. As someone who sat in the waiting room(brought a parent), I had time to take in the atmosphere of the office and wanted to share. The ladies greeting you are warm and friendly, we meet Aaliyah. She is very kind. As staff would enter, you would hear a warm good morning. This was meant for staff as well as patients. One after the next would arrive greeting everyone and sharing a smile.
