I arrived at 4.40 pm to find out they’d already closed. Then why have opening and closing times posted if you’re going to close whenever you want?
I've been a patient here for over 10 years and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The Special Patients Program is a lifeline for me. The care I receive has always been excellent. As for the other reviews, please keep a few things in mind. First, Medi-Cal/Denti-Cal only covers a limited number of procedures. If treatment calls for something else, you will have to pay, although the fees are reasonable and lower than at a private practice. For private insurance, they only accept Delta Dental. ⚠️ WARNING: DO NOT TRUST USC SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY FOR CUSTOM DENTURES I paid $625 for a custom denture from USC School of Dentistry (Dr. James Tom, DDS) and received a product that was defective, poorly designed, and unwearable. It caused me emotional distress and physical discomfort. I brought the issue to the quality manager and the dean, and while they admitted the product was unacceptable, they only offered me 20% of my money back — claiming “lab fees.” They expected me to just “get used to it.” I gave them a fair chance ... read more
Service is excellent and timely. Security and reception are always welcoming. There's usually a lot of people waiting in the lobby for urgent dentistry, but it doesn't slow down your wait time, especially if you have an appointment. There are also options for cancellation/call-in "wait list". The residents in practice are friendly and professional. The training doctors are fun and experienced.
