I am forever grateful to Penn Vet for how they took care of my dog, Basil! After a diagnosis of Sick Sinus Syndrome at another local animal hospital, we were directed to Ryan Hospital for further care. The ER intake was organized and thorough, and the cardiology team moved mountains to put Basil on the schedule for surgery ASAP. After a diagnosis on a Friday, Basil received a pacemaker by Tuesday morning and was home on Wednesday afternoon. Ryan Vet has been there for us from the start. Our pup came in for an emergency room visit and had to be transferred to internal medicine. She was cared for every step of the way, and when we could visit her, it was clear that she was also loved by her care team and loved them back. When our pup was ready for discharge, she was excited to see us, but not as relieved as she usually is to leave a vet office, I think because she was genuinely calm and happy (as much as is possible at a hospital). My cat will now be 20 in a month and it's been a long couple of years with her eye issues. I often have to go every 2 weeks for check ups as she has a chronic condition. Without these vets I would not still have a cat. They have gone above and beyond and I can not tell anyone enough how absolutely amazing they are. Dr. Han, Dr. Lassaline and the tech Lee are just amazing. Compassionate and Brilliant are the best words to describe them. They not only saved my cats eyes but her life also.
