They submitted incorrect insurance for my infusion, then after I managed to get the pre-approval in time for my initial appointment they refused to reschedule me until the following week. When I got upset about this they were more concerned with my tone than my healthcare. Do not come here, they are not responsible with patient care and then punish neurological patients reacting to it.
In network, Doylstown ER discharged and sent my mother here for an fast tracked appointment. Expecting her to get the assistance she needed quickly. Setup an appointment with her at UPenn Neurology for out of pocket at 500 dollars upfront. UPenn scheduling called back next day to cancel appointment that they will not schedule without insurance, gave no plan of action, doesn't take Medicare, independance 65 focus, out of pocket or ablepay. I've been seeing doctors here for years for MS. Neuros at Penn first gnored my symptoms for years and treated me like I was lying until I had a flare that hospitalized me. Once Dx'd they continued to gatekeep care and dealt lazily with my insurance company. Recently they told me if I wanted my meds reevaluated I'd need to get a spinal tap. Dr Spindler and staff are not effective at all. The last time I was there all she did was look at her watch. Unfortunately there are not many neurologist in the area that deal with Parkinson's.
