Dr. Shane Tsai implanted a LINQ cardiac monitor in my chest yesterday. The entire procedure went very easy. It only took Dr. Tsai about 3 minutes to complete the surgery. Many thanks to Dr. Tsai, as well as Mike, Steve and the other nurses that participated in my treatment. I also want to thank the MedTronic's nurse that gave my wife and I a training session on the LINQ monitoring system. As an additional note, I have been seen a number of UNMC doctors and medical staff since my wife and I relocated from the East Coast in Ma... read more
All in all, rates a 5, with reservations. Tuesday ER was too full so we sat in hallway for 9 hours. My issues were minor compared to many, gallbladder attack, but trying to get a bloodline in while gurnies, people, cleaning crews, etc was difficult. After that, all was very well done. Need more ER space and communications when rooms open up. Staff was very professional, interested in my welfare and great bedside mannor from cleaning crews, nurses, doctors and support staff. Doctors explained all issues well before and follow... read more
My husband went in for lung surgery and the staff was quite helpful from the start! Dr Trujillo was quite friendly and a great surgeon! I was a little disappointed with the lack of information once he made it back to recovery, and the lack of pain maintenance after he made it out of surgery, and the fact that they turned off the suction on his chest tube too early... But the rest of the staff seems to be quite helpful!
Best care, and professional staff ever. Caring and giving people we have ever come across. We drive from Sw Kansas to a hospital that has made a close bond with my husband and myself. Will keep going as long as it takes to see these caring people.
