My sister is there. She has the best staff. They are awesome. She has been fighting a infection in her hip for the past 6 months. They wasted no time to get it fixed. Every one of the staff that has been involved in her care, has been wonderful. Starting in the emergency room up to the 8th floor of the hosp. Yesterday the floor manager came in to make sure her stay is what we except. I had 1 concern about how to get in touch with her nurse, and he immediately went and got me a card with phone numbers. All of the RNs and Techs are wonderful! They have taken such good care of me and are so very friendly that they make a 4am assessment seem like a 🎉 party, LOL! Wouldn't want to be sick or in pain any where else 😊❤️😊❤️😊
Last night Dr Thorell presented to the Joe Niekro Foundation support group for brain aneurysm, AVM and hemorrhagic stroke at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. We were delighted to have Penumbra and Natalie Niekro join us to see how brain aneurysms are coiled!
UNMC College of Dentistry is the best. They have a great team of scholarly dentists who really have a holistic approach to care. They consult with each other since, some are experts in certain areas of dental care. They also understand the intricacies of bone structure, root canals, prevention, comorbid factors and how to approach each individual situation. They have won me over hands down. Its the place to be if you want the best!!
Wish I could give more than five stars. I came here on death's door 10 years, received a heart transplant seven years ago and am now thriving. Among the multitude of things I love about Nebraska Med is the fact "Serious Medicine, Extraordinary Care" is not just a saying to the staff. They live these words daily. I have found everyone from housekeeping, maintenance, nurses, doctors, are is extraordinary. If they somehow manage to slip through the cracks and are not extraordinary, they do not last long. Love the place. Everyone was very nice and helpful. My son had surgery and admitted to the hospital. The grounds were clean. The building and rooms were clean. The doctors and nurses were amazing.
Absolutely amazing staff! From the Valet to every single tech, nurse, & dr; they were friendly, supportive, helpful, & informative. For as terrible of an experience it is to visit the ER for any reason, it was short & pleasant as could be. Thank you, to every single staff member we crossed paths with yesterday. You made a broken arm to a 6 year old seem like no big deal, & kept him so comfortable.
