RecommendedThis hospital is outstanding. Every time I have to go into the Hospital for my seizures I feel at home. The nurses, techs, doctors, cleaning ladies/gentlemen, room service, and everyone else have treated me like a human being. It’s also extremely nice to have nurses and techs who have taken care of kids and adults outside of unmc who suffer from seizures like I have. It’s very comforting to know that they’re taking care of me while I’m there and that they know what I feel when I come out of them. And for me that means a lot.
I've been in the pediatrics dept with my 5 year old and the nurses, aides, housekeeping, and the cafeteria workers have been amazing!
I was diagnosed with breast cancer early December. After talking to quite a few friends and colleagues there was no question I wasn’t going to work together with the med center to go through this journey with me. From my surgeon to radiologist to oncologist, to my healthcare providers during radiation I am overwhelmed with the care I received.
Had my first virtual ( sort of) doctor visit the other day. They had me take pictures of my incisions and send a remote reading from my at home pacemaker interrogator to my doctor. Everything's good and it saved me from a trip to the doctors office and possible unnecessary exposure to germs. Thanks UNMC!!
They’ve got the best surgeons and nursing staff! They actually care about their patients and they take the time to help you no matter how long it takes!!!
