I arrived for an appointment this morning and was told I couldn’t be seen without a referral. The disappointing part is that no one from the office called me to inform me of this prior to my appointment. I shifted my work schedule for the appointment and I was completely inconvenienced. It doesn’t make sense that you guys have a full front desk staff sitting there not checking/verifying insurance or communicating to patients what is needed for their appointments. I am with the System and went there because this is the place closest to me. It took over 1hr to be seen by the doctor and there were barely any patients. The staff weren’t friendly at all. I would never go there again!!! TERRIBLE!
The call center making appointments is incompetent. Despite saying multiple times that I needed a contact lens prescription they first booked me an appt with a doctor that doesn't do contacts. I had to split my appointments and wait three more weeks for the refraction. Then I get there and they were unaware the appt. was for contacts. My prescription had expired and I needed to order more asap so I was originally ok with the fact they would not take my insurance at this location so I could get the prescription quickly. This building has too many doctor offices making too much money not to band together and redo that janky ass bathroom on the first floor. There is no changing table for babies. No paper towels . Cheap toilet paper. Like present your office facilities better than that. Also my wait was extremely long in the office
Used to love this office. Providers are not personable. Waited almost 2 hours at the downtown office. Went to the OM office and received a prescription which I can barley use the glasses. Called after months of trying to get used to the prescription and was told I can't get in to any location until December. I stated I would need to go somewhere else and the employee said "okay" and hung up. They could care less!
