I am extremely disappointed and concerned about the way this emergency department is being operated, particularly regarding patient privacy and confidentiality. During my stay on September 4th 2021 following a traumatic brain injury from a bicycle accident, I was provided with alcohol by one of the nurses on duty on multiple occasions during my less than 24-hour stay, the people on duty that night should be held accountable and I have filed with the medical board as well. Can you imagine someone giving wine to a patient in the hospital just a couple of hours after they wake up bleeding from the ear with a skull fracture, among all of the other injuries.
I didn’t like my experience at this facility. The emergency room is inefficient, wait times are crazy and staff will ignore and mistreat you. I was in the ER for 4+ hours for an ear infection without any care or update since being triaged.
Wasn’t a patient but was waiting for someone in the waiting room. A chair I sat in was soaked with urine which caused my pants to get wet. I told the front desk about it and asked if they had any pants. The lady at the front desk told another nurse to get me some scrub pants but she just was in the beginning of eating her dinner. Since she was eating she told me to wait. So I had to wait a couple of minutes with someone’s urine on me which is an extreme biohazard.
