I got here at 7:30pm, it’s 1:24am and I am still in the waiting room. Receptionist is unresponsive. There’s only 2 doctors in the ER? No one helps. Absolutely the worst experience! I’m bringing a shaking elderly woman to the ER and no one cares. This hospital should be embarassed. What a waste of resources
Spoke highly of the hospital beings though I recently was employed there doing Security. On arrival the Registration nurses was Very nice and helpful. My C section was Scheduled here for 7:30am . I been here since then & was sitting in the L&D waiting area for more than 3hrs for a Pre Op room. Completely unacceptable ! The Excuse was because the ED Sent patients upstairs, TRIAGE ROOMS Have nothing to do w Pre Op Surgical Rooms. I’m very Irritated and this is Ruining my Birthing Experience. Absolutely unacceptable experience at Largo Hospital. I was there all night and never once saw a doctor, and neither did many of the other people waiting. Some patients who clearly needed serious medical attention eventually gave up and left because they were being ignored for hours. This hospital showed no compassion for the sick, the elderly, or homeless individuals who were sitting there suffering. This was one of the worst healthcare experiences I’ve ever witnessed. My wife came in needing care and was met with cold, dismissive, and completely unprofessional behavior from start to finish. The front desk staff was especially disappointing. No empathy, no basic courtesy, and absolutely no sense of urgency. Instead of feeling welcomed or supported, we felt like an inconvenience. the worst hospital experience i have ever had! the staff was extremely unhelpful and unpleasant. thy have the the slowest intake and triage procedures i have ever seen! all the nurses and staff do is stand around and talk to each other. they don’t know the answer to any of your questions and they don’t know how to do thorough jobs! i was at this hospital with a broken nose for FOUR HOURS and never even spoke to a doctor. i had to use the restroom during my visit and all the bathrooms had clogged toilets and no paper.please i... read more
