Always relieved to be seen by the best in their field. My children have been so impressed with the medical professionals at UIHC over the past 18 years, one of them has chosen to become a doctor in order to give families the kind of care and hope he received, and that changed his life, at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. I can't think of any higher statement on the level of care my 3 boys have received.
Ask Jake? Then you will get the answer? Would love to start over, knowing what I know now, we truly thought we made the right decision by going there,? But the biggest mistake I’ve made so far in my 52 years, my advice.... if you have to go there... hire 3 people to watch every thing to a T, sad that I trusted this institution, think about it every minute of every day! Big mistake!
This is the best hospital I have ever been in. Every single person I’ve encountered has bent over backwards to help. Just wish it was closer.
I asked a pain in my amputated left leg and was given some lame crap as to why I have arthritis in my knee. Students need to read and understand English perfectly before being unsupervised. There should be translaters with each Doctor who does not speak perfect English.
I delivered my son early via c-section in June due to placenta complications and some other issues. Dr. Ward, Dr. Bender and the others on my care team were amazing and so compassionate to my situation. Everything went well and could not have asked for a better care team! Thank you!
