we just wanted to reach out to say thank you to Dr. Ryan Fries and his staff in the cardiology department for taking the time to confirm Bamboo's diagnosis which sadly is HCM :( we are glad to at least have a better understanding of what is truly wrong with him. We had him seen on May 11 and the staff was incredibly patient with him. We look forward to doing his future visits with you <3 your program is wonderful. Bamboo's family
When my 7 month old boxer was hit by a truck in January, everyone encouraged me to take him to U of I. I can understand why now!! They are AMAZING!! After 3 surgeries and a lot of therapy, I feel like I have my Dutch back. Words cannot describe how grateful we are to the doctors and therapists who cared for him like he was their own. Whenever he comes back for therapy he is so excited to see everyone. Makes it easier to leave him when i know he is loved there as much as at home.
The doctors and residents were nothing but compassionate and professional with me and my cat Sookie. The oncology and internal med dept. Awesome
Couldn't be more thankful for helping my mare figure out where her mild lameness was coming from. They were very informative and very professional! Loved having the students there helping with her! We will definitely be back for any other issues in the future. 3 hour drive is so worth it!
