I’ve had very positive experiences at the student health clinic. I have several complex chronic physical and mental health conditions and Dr. Hazen has done a great job at helping me manage them. I’ve been able to get both my psychiatric and non-psychiatric meds filled here. She has taken all of my concerns very seriously, ordering labs when needed, helping adjust medication, and send referrals to specialists when she feels she’s out of her wheelhouse. I had severe depression and they basically told me that that’s not a medical condition and you don’t even need a prescription or any medications. They didn’t give me a report or a referral or anything that could help me with my situation they just suggested that I contact the university concealing instead of giving me care themselves.

Generally really nice people, I really like Hazen and all the nurses are very nice. They are very respectful and helpful in providing trans care specifically and the wait times are not usually very long. My only complaint is that it is always a hassle getting blood drawn here, so I would recommend scheduling that through the main Gritman hospital. Can't speak to copays as I have medicaid.
