I just wanted to shared here the great experience I had with an NP (Melissa Barnaby) at IU Health (Obgyn) dept. I have to change my IUD this year, but I was concerned with how painful it would be. (my first insertion was TERRIBLE). The NP walked me through all the pain mitigation options - General anesthesia (but OR charge), cervical blocks, numbing jelly. All this paired with other meds: high dose of Ibuprofen, Valium,low dose opiod combo, etc. And all the Obgyns there were trained to handle any of these options. She just h... read more
Dr. Yates is very personable and listens to you and genuinely cares about your questions and concerns. Makes sure you’re comfortable the whole time and explains everything in great detail so you’re never lost or confused during the appointment. 1000/10 recommend!!
People are friendly, and the facility is new and clean. However, it was over 30 minutes past my scheduled time, and the doctor still hasn't shown up. I understand the doctor is busy, but asking the patient to wait that long is not very good. I decided not to return to this location.
Grateful to have the expert menopausal care by Dr N. Scott. She not only did an extensive review of my medical history but also took the time to discuss and educate on risks/benefits of hormone replacement therapy specifically designed for me!!!
