I was taken into ER on April 24, 2016 and was released on May 1, 2016. Since I arrived that first day I was taken care of with the greatest respect by every single nurse, doctor, and medical assistant! I had to return a second time and was admitted for another three days and was taken care of the same way, if not better! I want to thank all nurses on the fifth floor, they were all really nice and very attentive with me! Thank you again! :)
What many don't UNDERSTAND is UMC is a trauma center.... means those arriving in life or death circumstances are treated first...I love this hospital for their excellent staff including the caring doctors who work endless hours.. I've been here more times than I care to count with my kids and always have had excellent care!!! Thank you!
ER graveyard staff very rude while waiting 6 hrs in lobby then moved to another lobby inside the er for another 2 hrs! Saw an elderly man in a wheel chair ask to be taken to the rr cause he needed to go... Nurse said I'll take you to the room next nurse 45 min later passes by him 3 times and ignores him then finally says "I told you I was taking you to your room shh" like really then two ppl that got here after we did get called in to a room, so I asked how much longer cause we were here before them and nurse rudely said its... read more
I don't understand how this hospital can be ranked with 4 stars and above! The staff is very rude, and when you ask for help they are even worse! People waiting for about 12hrs or so to be seen even if they are in extremely bad pain. This is such a ridiculous thing for a damn hospital to do. Most of the staff members get mad when you ask a question and they answer very rude. My 7 hour wait was ridiculous! Never again a one star rating is too much!! Then got prescribed medicines I didn't even need & didn't get meds I did need...PMH will always be my #1!!!
The part where this institution choses to bill their client for raping her without a warrant is scary. Why is anyone comfotable bringing their loved ones here?
