I went in to have a skin lesion looked at and they ended up doing a biopsy. The provider Susan Mayne was great. However, the lab tested the lesion to see what it was but claims they required an additional NINE tests, charging me for each one. A visit that could have been a few hundred dollars turned into a bill for over $1500. I contacted the billing department and asked them to justify the medical necessity of the additional tests. I had a new patient dermatology appointment last week. I did have issues finding the location with so many medical offices in the area, but the front office staff was nice with still checking me in and accommodating me. My provider that day was Dr. Shannon. She had excellent bedside manner, great communication, and showed a lot of patience.
