My husband had oral surgery today they took good care of him even if it took a lot longer than we were told.
I give them 5 star for the service, but there are so backwards on so many levels. Take the elevator. You can't take it to the bottom emergency room. You have to walk outside to get to the elevator to get to the top of the short parking garage. they need to put up a map to show where you are and where the place you need to get to.
This place is awesome. I can't say enough good things about it. Our stay there was for my 16 year old son who was having a video eeg done. He saw Dr. Leary who was kind, patient, and very informative on any questions I had. The nurses were so nice and helpful to my son and myself. They made us feel very comfortable. Our stay was for 3 days, all of which past by quickly. This hospital and its staff were wonderful. I appreciate all the hard work they did for my son. My wife had surgery there yesterday my experience there was very pleasant the people their are very helpful n friendly and they text every detail of what's going on with your loved one from start to finish keep up the good work!!
The staff is excellent but the parking is a very big draw back. Can't believe you have to pay for parking and not very good choices.
My mom was admitted the nurses have so far had so much patience with her. Doctors came in and explained every step that they were taking and results and diagnosis. When paramedics picked her up and said that they were transporting her to UTHSC family was happy I believe this is the hospital with the best doctors. I have not over heard any negative conversation between nurses at the nurses station like at other hospitals. Thank God for the compassion, caring, and love that my mom is getting at University Hospital.
