If I could give zero stars I would. The maintenance team is slower than anywhere else I’ve ever lived. I told them my fridge was broken and I have medication that has to stay cold. They promised it would be fixed that day and it was not. I then emailed the next day and they lied and said they fixed it. My AC has also been broken for a week and I wasn’t even offered a temporary unit even though the day I put in the maintenance request it was 80° inside of my apartment. Took 2 weeks to fix a broken washer.
2/23/26 Edit- Never received reimbursement for Uber. I sent a portal asking for the lease to be mutually terminated (they are tearing down multiple amenities, too). After on reply and a second message, another PM from the other Munizer property replied, so it appears that Alexis is no longer with them & still no PM for the Heights. - they only do construction during the semester - as a Hispanic with two white roommates, their maintenance requests would be filled out within the day and mine would take at least two weeks to be addressed - the state of the apartments is not worth how much you will be paying - they say there are inspections every 3 months for the ac filter, however it was more like 5 (ours was filthy when we moved in even though they supposedly cleaned it the month before) - when the heater turns on it smells like something is burning - ho... read more
I really enjoyed living at The Heights Apartments. The community is clean and well maintained, the staff is friendly and responsive, and the location is super convenient. Great for college students looking for apartments close to campus. Highly recommend!
11/21/25 Edit for fairness- Alexis, who is over Munizer Knoxville properties, is who I spoke to earlier this week. The Heights had no property manager at this time. Alexis called me back today to relay improvements they have made with the shuttle system, and to invite me to submit Uber receipts for reimbursement, which the previously refused to do.
