I wish I could give this apartment complex zero stars. Our washer has been on and off broken all year. We requested a replacement washer but were denied the request despite having put in six maintenance requests for it over the duration of two semesters. Our washer broke late March and still has not been fixed. We are currently going on almost five weeks of not having a working washing machine. After living at the Heights for the past 3 years, I give 3 out of 5 stars. There are lots of positives and negatives about this complex. Starting off with the negatives, there are quite a few. First, the apartments are infested with Kudzu beetles, carpenter bees, and sometimes spiders. The carpenter bees and beetles in my opinion are the worst because the bees will hover in your face and follow you, and the Kudzu beetles emit a strong odor when provoked. We have had maintenance issues throughout my daughter’s time here. She has not had a working Air Conditioner the whole month of March with no response to her initial maintenance request. Her refrigerator went out and she lost all the food in her fridge. It took several days before it was working again. She has had her washing machine worked on several times after many requests for it to be looked at and about a week to get it fixed.
