My son had surgery there and also was hospitalized there for over a week and received excellent care. I have surgery on my kidney scheduled for tomorrow and feel completely confident in the care I look forward to receiving from them based on my son's overall experience there.
My wife went in to have nerve blockers in her back. As soon as the doctors was finished giving her that shot she was crying in pain for hours while the nurses just stood by and done nothing but got rude with her. My wife has ptsd so when a nurse or anyone gets rude or loud with her it throws her into a panic attack. Then my wife was unable to move her legs and not one doctor there acted like they even cared they was in such a hurry to push her out the door. I’m a clergyman and upon several requests of family members of patients to go pray with the patients. I’ve been meet with opposition even denied visitation. Even after being added to the list of visitors. I would like to know the hospital’s policy pertaining to this matter. There are other medical facilities here locally that I’ve visited for the same purpose that once stated my purpose I was admitted. I went to the ER for a migraine and blurred vision. I don’t mind waiting as I know how busy hospitals get especially the ER. As long as I am updated on what’s happening I’m pretty much fine. After 10 hours of waiting I decided to leave to come back when I had more time. I tried talking to one of the nurses to get my discharge papers and she gave me a nasty attitude and told me to have a seat. Not that she would give them to me but to keep waiting until my name was called. Her rudeness and disrespect messed up my entire mood ... read more
