I rented with UHMC for more than 3 years. They are incredibly attentive to maintenance requests (everything attended to and fixed within 1-2 days), really understanding of extenuating circumstances, and very communicative. I recommend them wholeheartedly. The apartment I rented also never had any pest problems, which can be a big feat to achieve in Baltimore!
I would usually never write a review about my landlord, so that tells you how good of an experience I had here. UHMC was really responsive to all of my needs and concerns throughout my tenancy. Would highly recommend renting from them if you're looking for housing in the Charles Village area.
Overall a fantastic company to rent from. Very responsive with repairs, issues and questions. Very well run portal with online pay, ect. Would totally have rented from them again but they did not have bigger spaces available at the time.

On my search, UHMC offered a few things other rentals in the neighborhood didn't: they cover the water bill (which can be a big headache to deal with otherwise), they were thoughtful about installing laundry on-site as well as in their core neighborhood, and they turned the apartment over clean and freshly painted. The rent might be slightly higher but the apartment is twice as nice as places I toured even on the exact same block.
