Management has become very communicative and responds quickly to any questions regarding leases, maintenance requests, etc. They are eager to help tenants so that any issues are quickly resolved. Good for the price
My daughter has lived in these apartments for 3 years as a student at UD- in a 3 bedroom in L building and then in a 4 bedroom in D building. The 3 bedroom was very cozy with old hardwood floors. The 4 bedroom in the D building was spacious for the bedroom - each with their own bathroom. The bedrooms were carpeted and gross for me- but the girls didn’t care. Wonderful apartment complex! Very spacious apartments with tentative staff. Nice outdoor green space and short walk from University of Delaware and Main St.
These are decent apartments except that the landlord Chris NEVER COMMUNICATES. If you have questions about parking, maintenance, rent rates, touring, leases, etc don’t expect an answer unless you call/text/email five-ten times, and even then, you’re lucky if you get a response. The one time I met with Chris in person to sign a lease, he blatantly ignored phone calls and seemed to be playing video games instead. My daughter and 3 girlfriends wanted to rent a 4 bedroom here for sophomore year at UD. They had a difficult time getting in touch with these people but finally turned in their applications and spoke with someone about the specifics. After many tries as well as parents trying to reach these people via phone calls, e-mails and visits over a 2 month period it was finally found out the apt they were trying to rent was rented to somebody else.
