TOOK MY TRUCK IN FOR A OIL CHANGE AND TIRE ROTATION AND THE SERVICE WAS GOOD
I was traveling from PA via Roxboro, NC to Jacksonville, FL when the automatic steering on my Ford Explorer went out. The Service staff at University Ford North tried its best to have the problem fixed so that I could be back on the road the next day.
This was my first out of state buying experience. Being from charleston sc, we found an explorer with a great price. We contacted the dealership and was put in contact with Tim Pleasant. He was extremely helpful and gave me no pressure. We were able to work out a deal via email and the phone. He was so nice and easy to work with its no wonder he has been at the dealership 5+ years. I would but another car from here and from Tim. Thank you for making my first out of state buying experience a great one.
I would usually be extremely happy with ford, this is not a complaint pertaining to just this location but Ford as a company. If you're working on my car due to reprogramming (Recall or the like) my transmission module that you informed me about, why am I not offered a loaner car for convience? Why does it only offer a rental(or a shuttle)? Never had this issue with Chevy. Not everyone has a 9-5 M-F job or a spare car just sitting around to use whenever they need. I was impressed with the staff. Most important is Timothy Pleasant. He is the most polite, patient and has the best ethics that I have had the pleasure of dealing with.
